GENERAL INFORMATION

About the game

"Golden Valley" is a classical economic city-build simulator. You have a chance to build a city of your dreams. Build farms, factories, cafes, stores, decorations and lot of more to ensure, that your people will have no problems. Realize your dream in Golden Valley. "Golden Valley" is a free-to-play game. Some in game items are available to purchase.

WHAT TO DO?

Collect resources

Workers can gather different resources - grass, stones, wood, and get experience. You can use resources for construction of buildings and new materials.

Construct buildings

In order to make variety of materials, food and houses to develop your town you will need to build a lot of different buildings.

Create items

You can create various items in the production buildings, using resources gathered earlier.

Visit friends

You need to click on your friend's avatar on the friends' panel to visit their locations and find gold there.

Replace, rotate and remove

There is an icon with an arrow in the bottom right corner of the screen. Click on it to see a menu that will help you to replace, rotate and remove (but you cannot rotate building with inscriptions, fields and gardens).

EXPERIENCE

Why do you need experience?

It's required for the level up. The higher level you are, the more buildings and decor are available for you.

How do I get experience?

Experience is given for completing quests, construction of buildings, collecting resources and manufacturing. Experience can also be obtained by using guest actions when visiting friends.

RESOURCES

Food

What is food?

Food is one of basic sources in the game. You need food to make the most of actions in game.

How to get food?

Food is produced on fields, in gardens and you can also collect it from trees.

Workers

Who are workers?

There are people, who live in your town and also one of basic resources in the game. You need them to make the most of action in your town (building, collecting, manufacturing etc.)

How to get workers?

Workers live in houses. When you need to improve the number of your workers you should build a building of residential buildings category. If you need to build more houses you need to upgrade mayor's office. It requires 3 houses of 4th level (which one depends on the level of City Hall). Happiness required to build that houses.

Happiness

What is happiness?

Happiness is a resource which is necessary to build houses.

How to get happiness?

You can improve the happiness in your town by decorating it. All the buildings in Decor category improve the happiness, also some building in Commercial buildings category make people happier :)

Coins

What is coins?

Coins are basic currency in the game. You need it for manufacturing, building and commerce.

How to get coins?

You can produce coins by using deals in commercial buildings, also houses make coins (rent).

Bucks

What is bucks?

There are second currency in the game. You may use it to speed up all the actions in the game and also to buy some extra buildings, resources and decor.

How to get bucks?

You can earn bucks by participating and winning in group's contests. Our group also presents bucks once a week. You can also buy it.

BUILDINGS

Important information: all the buildings have 5 levels. You can upgrade any of this to 4th level by using usual resources (wood, coins, boards, stones, bricks etc.), but to upgrade a building to level 5 you need to use bucks. Of course, it's unnecessary, but with 5 level building you will get some bonuses, for example: shorter time of production, bigger reward for deals and manufacturing etc.
Residential buildings - there are buildings where your workers live. When you need to improve the number of your workers you should build a building of that category.
Commercial building - there are building which are necessary for making coins in the game.
Decor - there are building which are necessary to make your livers happy.
Environment - there are different objects (trees, roads, stones etc.) which give you experience. Roads – there are different objects (trees, roads, stones etc.) which give you experience.

SPECIAL BUILDINGS

City Hall

City Hall is a center of your town. Basically, a level of City Hall decides how much houses you can build and how much people live in your town. If you want to improve the level of City Hall you need to build 3 house of Residential buildings category (you could see which of them in building's tab) and improve them to level 4. Remember, that you need happiness to build the houses. After an improvement of a level of City Hall you will get the possibility to build new type of houses.

Scout's camp

Scout's camp is a place where you can complete expeditions with your friends. You can get some of important resources (for example fragments of the map) in this expedition. You can invite friends directly via Scout's camp by pressing "Invite" button, but it's possible to invite only those players which already opened this territory. The more friends are invited, the greater the chance to get a 100% reward (10% for each friend).

FREE GIFTS

Why do you need free gifts?

You can present some unique materials to your friends.

To make a gift:

• 1. Click the gift icon in the bottom left corner of the screen
• 2. Choose a gift and press "Present" button
• 3. Choose a friend and press "Send" button

To see who is looking for a certain present, you should click "Show everyone who needs it" button. You can receive limited amount of gifts. The maximum amount of gifts in warehouse equals to 50.

WISH LIST

How to add an item to the Wish list?

If you click the plus sign under the required item icon in the gift menu you can add it to your Wish list. Your friends will see what gift you need.

FRIENDS

Visit a friend

In order to visit a friend:

• 1. Choose a friend in the Friends panel on the bottom left corner of the screen.
• 2. Click on the friend's avatar
• 3. When you are at friend's town, you have 5 Guest action available: you can collect coin and experience in friend's city.

Why I can't replace, rotate or remove some of buildings?

It's possible to rotate all the buildings except some of them which are important for the story, have inscriptions and also fields and gardens. Unfortunately, this is a technical limitation which helps to keep the game well optimized. With such possibilities the app will work much slowly. We really care about game's optimization and do everything to make game process comfortable. Hope, you're enjoying it ;)

Why game crashes when I'm trying to visit friend's towns?

It connects with RAM. When you visit friends game needs to download his town and it loads RAM, since players move fast between their friends RAM has no time to unload and game crashes, because has not enough RAM. We recommend to visit low level friends with small towns to avoid the problem.

Why I can't collect the stones/wood/grass? Game writes, that my storage is full!

Your storage is limited. You can recycle this resources to something else (grass to hay, stones to coal, wood to boards). Obviously, if you have not enough space on your storages, you can extend it by few ways:
1. You can upgrade your storage and you will have more space
2. You can also build the new one
The similar rules concern barn. If you can't produce anything in the barn you should build the new one.

Why I can not to build a road?

If you have any problem with a road, we recommend you to try a rebuild it but lead it from the main road. If it doesn’t help, write us.
